Jake Mondi realizes this life isn't supposed to be like it is. His time here was taken away by future forces. They are playing with the past, the time, and situations. He finds his previous family only to find out that there are twelve years passed since he was taken away. No one knows who he is in this time. Jake stumbles around, trying to piece together his absence. He soon realizes that the future is trying to capture him and take him back to the future. Jake Mondi does battle with Dr. Emmitt Townsen and his supporters. A twist of fate aligns the two, and another evil character surfaces. The old ally becomes a traitor and goes off the handle. In the future, a power and control struggle to contain the problem and try to bring back Jake Mondi alive. Those in the past try to prevent future involvement into their lives. They set about preventing the Time Gate from any disruption of the past. Time Gate brought glimpses of the future into their lives that they did not want. Fearing unforeseen consequences and being determined to protect the sanctity of their time line, the group unites to create a plan to circumvent the control from the future.

They hoped their plan would be successful in closing the interference from the future. They wanted to prevent ripples across the time line.
